This place is pretty legit! The food was great! I'm not disappointed with our lunch. Only negative comments from my friends were the taco salads were a bit lacking for the price, and the nacho cheese was lacking flavor. I definitely enjoyed the chicken enchilada it was packed full of meat, and so was my burrito! The salsa bar was definitely a plus, and the staff was also very friendly! Will definitely stop again when I'm up that way!

Loved that this was a family resteraunt and there’s kids were here. There was young girl who was hostess and she was absolutely fantastic. She checked numerous times if we needed drinks. Would deff come back again. It’s the best Mexican food I’ve ever had.

Absolutely amazing restaurant. My girlfriend and I drove around an hour to Wellsboro and discovered this amazing place. We will absolutely be back again. Amazing atmosphere, great staff who are very friendly and the food is wonderful. We ordered the Chimichanga and Agave Taco combo (Carnitas). I will absolutely recommend this to friends and family. Can't wait to visit again!

We come here almost weekly now! Each time, we try something different and it’s always great! You pay at the counter and then get your drink and find a seat. Go back to the drink station to get your salsa and sour cream for your dishes and by that time, your meal is usually at your table! Clean bathrooms and dining area is always clean. You can enjoy a table out by the kitchen or in the front and watch the people walk by as you eat. There is no outdoor seating here. There is a good variety on the menu.

Drove an hour and a bit to try Los Agaves on the recommendation of a trusted friend and was NOT DISAPPOINTED at all. Seriously, the best authentic Mexican cuisine in Northern PA. A worthy replacement for our defunct go-to, though the distance is a little bit of a damper. That being said, the barbacoa sopes and the quesabirria tacos were superb. The chimichanga was excellent, and the Oaxacan quesito was pretty darn good. While not close enough to be our dedicated Taco Tuesday joint, we will definitely be returning to try other menu items.

I love trying Mexican restaurants while traveling and this is one of the BEST Mexican restaurants that I’ve experienced. The mild salsa had a unique smoky flavor that was really good...did I mention they have a salsa bar . The menu included 3 tasty soups including Pozole which was delicious! I’d also recommend the quesabirras taco!! Our group of 7 people all loved our meals. Clean atmosphere with friendly faces. I’d highly recommend this place!!

The food is absolutely delicious! Their birria tacos and molcajete are so damn good . The new setup has some kinks to workout but it's really not a big deal. It's just because ordering at the bar is brand new to them and the staff so it will take them a little bit to get used to the flow of things. They do their best and the staff is friendly. When I order my grilled chicken there are times I ask for no oil added and they are kind enough to do that for me. The owners are great people and they are very much loved members of our community. This family owned restaurant is just another example of a great family owned small business in this beautiful little town of ours

Wow! I rarely say this but this is a true five star for food! The flavor is excellent and tasted perfectly balanced with all the spices. Sauces are freshly made. The flank steak diner was a big and tender, super delicious! Six of us all looked their food and one said this tasted like the food how her grandmother used to make. So glad we stopped by when this just opened. A bit busy but worth the wait. Highly recommended to anyone in the area craving good fresh food
